The 3rd & youngest of the 3 Fox Sisters...

This adorably odd sight calls herself Nillie Patterclaws, or so she claims it to be her name. If it were not for the ears, tail and strange face markings, she could easily have passed off as a young and curious human teenage girl due to her small size. She seems like the friendly sort, always so full of energy, carrying herself with a certain agile grace. Her eyes, however, seemed to have a sense of sharpened alertness, much like what a common woodland animal would have. Considering that she is dressed strangely foreign, in what exotic merchants call a 'yukata' of pure white and red colors, its most likely that she is not local to these parts.

This humanoid creature is a young Tengu cub, and you can tell by looking at the perky pointed ears and magnificent fluffy tail, she is obviously of the Fox Clan variety. They are not native to Garialand. Tengu are originally from the Far East, far from the Garia coastline, beyond the island of Luxambra, and on the mysterious continent of Wu Tian. The Fox Clan is considered one of the most respected and revered of all fey folk there, almost to the class of royalty or high nobility, so much so that Fox Clan ambassadors are often treated like visiting kings or queens. It is said that some of their most venerable elders are worshiped as local gods of protection in their homeland, as some are rumored to be as powerful as dragons. It is quite a strange sight to find a young one so far away from home, as their matriarchal communities are usually strict and tight knit. Rank is usually derived from age, so this particular one is likely to be somewhere in the bottom rung.

Her real name is Ayu and she is apparently in 'exile' with her three sisters here in Garialand. Her mother is Lady Wu, a powerful Nine Tails elder and an ambassador for Wu Tian in Garialand. Certain parties in Wu Tian want her and her sisters dead because she has the potential of growing nine tails herself when she matures some centuries from now. In the Fox Clan, any Fox Tengu with nine tails naturally become powerful and Ayu is slated to replace her mother one day as leader of the Fox Clan. Currently, she has been separated from her sisters and is hiding out in Ravia Forest, disguising herself as part of the wildlife.
